I started in ham radio when I was 15 years old. Almost 45 years later, I'm still enjoying it!
The station has seen many changes - in contest callsigns from TI5A to TI5W to finally TI7W. The antennas have changed even more, and the radio gear as well.
I've been on a few contest expeditions as well as DXPeditions. They've been great fun.
We've had remarkable success from the station. Currently we hold EVERY DX-side multi-operator category CW record in ARRLDX CW. N4YDU piloted TI7W to a win in the 2018 ARRLDX CW for the first major contest SOAB HP win. KL9A has made more QSO's in a single contest than anybody in the history of CQWW CW from here, but first place from the pit of Zone 7 has been just out of reach.
